The town of Peratallada is in the point of contact of the zone of hills of the Gavarres and the lands of the baixempodenesa plain, in the left of the river Grossa.
The village, declared històrico-artístic set, are one of the most important area of Catalonia regarding mediaeval architecture. Peratallada, preserves its ancient feudal aspect, with narrow and tortuous streets, where it highlights the castle fortified with its tower and the palace, the walls and the church of Sant Esteve.
